If we already have our own voice talent, how does the process change?
ReadSpeaker won't do “voice talent scouting”, but instead jump straight to a technical test recording where we set up a one hour online appointment with the voice talent and the VoiceLab team. We will do a real recording according to our requirements, in order to evaluate audio quality and cooperation, as well as how well the voice is suited for TTS. Based on that we can give a recommendation to move on with the suggested voice (normal case), or try to find another voice (rarely).
Can ReadSpeaker help us identify our voice persona, before even starting the voice talent scouting process?
Yes. The VoiceLab team can help you identify your voice persona by having a discussion with you, reviewing your marketing material and social media presence, and suggesting suitable characteristics and voice talents based on our extensive experience in voice talent scouting.
